How Participant Quota Usage Is Calculated

Your participant quota usage in Simulations Labs is based on the number of unique users who actively participate in your competition or lab by submitting at least one challenge solution during your current subscription cycle.

When a Participant Is Counted

A participant is added to your quota as soon as they submit their first challenge in a competition or lab hosted under your account.

  • Simply joining or viewing a competition does not count toward the quota.

  • Only users who make at least one valid submission are included in your usage.

Unique Participants per Subscription Cycle

Each user is counted once per subscription cycle, regardless of how many challenges or competitions they join or submit in.

Example:

  • A user submits challenges in three different competitions within the same subscription cycle → counts as 1 participant.

  • A new user submits for the first time → adds 1 to your quota usage.

When Quota Resets

Your participant quota resets automatically at the start of each new subscription cycle.
At that point:

  • The counter starts fresh.

  • Only new participants who submit challenges in the new cycle are counted.
