Monitoring a live CTF Competition

Modified on Mon, 19 May at 11:14 AM

After launching your competition, you can track participant activity, performance, and submissions in real time. This guide explains how to effectively monitor both teams-based and individual-based competitions from your manager dashboard.

 Managing Teams-Based Competitions

 Members Teams Statistics

Track top-performing teams and challenge-solving activity:

  • First Solvers
Discover which teams were the first to solve specific challenges. This section highlights those who made early breakthroughs, often used for recognition or prize considerations.

  • Team Statistics Overview
For each team, you can view:

    • Challenges Solved – A list of all challenges the team successfully completed.

    • Correct Attempts – The number of times the team submitted a correct solution.

    • Wrong Attempts – The number of incorrect submissions made.

To dive deeper into any team’s performance, click “View Team Statistics” next to their name. A pop-up will appear with a breakdown of their results.

Members Submissions

This section lists all submissions made by team members.

For each submission, you can view:

  • The participant/team who made the submission.

  • The challenge attempted.

  • The submission result (correct or wrong).

  • The timestamp of the attempt.

Important: You can delete any submission by clicking the trash icon next to it.
Deleting a correct submission will remove the points earned for that challenge from the participant or team’s score.
This is particularly useful if you suspect cheating or misconduct and wish to penalize unfair attempts.
